Catholics, do you feel like you have more in common with Liberal Protestants, or Evangelicals/Fundamentalists?

As far as religion goes, I see more similarities with mainstream denominations like the Anglicans and Lutherans than with nutty groups like Westboro Baptists or Jack Chick. As far as science goes I see more similarities with the atheists. Somehow the Big Bang has become an atheist idea, after being proposed by a Catholic priest.
