Michael Jackson problem I have please answer?

The other day a few weeks ago I was in the kitchen with my mum the radio was on then the Michael Jackson song gone too soon came on and then I said that's' sounds nice its sounds familiar then I remembered Michael Jackson sang it and told my mum she then said o it is a nice song something a long the lines of that.Then she went into the living and told my dad to listen to the song then told him it was a M.J song then got me to tell him what album it was off I said it was off the dangerous album dad said the song was nice too.Then mum and dad got very serious and started whispering to each other and they were saying people didn't like him anymore because of the allegations which I don't' believe by the way and then I heard dad saying to mum in front of me in the kitchen she likes him because of what he represents I think he may have meant this in a bad way meaning I like him and his music for all the wrong reasons which I don't' can you get my drift.But dad also likes Michael's' music and listens to it a lot and said he was great the day M.J died.My mum said to me the day after M.j died that she doesn't believe he was a pedophile I wont go into details.What do you guys think do you think I have the wrong end of the stick on this way im very concerned and worried about this please answer me thanks.
