The gland behind my left ear is swollen and by touch is painfull. no soar throat, fever,or mucus?

for two day my gland has been swollen and painful by touch. Behind my left ear. I do not have any symptoms of mucus build up, fever, soar throat.,cough, nothing. What could it be.
